حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِذَا نَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلْيَرْقُدْ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ عَنْهُ النَّوْمُ، فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا صَلَّى وَهُوَ يَنْعَسُ لَعَلَّهُ يَذْهَبُ يَسْتَغْفِرُ، فَيَسُبُّ نَفْسَهُ.

✧ When one of you becomes drowsy, let him lie down until the sleepiness goes away from him, for if he prays while he is drowsy, perhaps he goes to seek forgiveness and ends up cursing himself.
