حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

بِئْسَمَا عَدَلْتُمُونَا بِالْكَلْبِ وَالْحِمَارِ، قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي، وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ غَمَزَ - يَعْنِي: رِجْلِي -، فَضَمَمْتُهَا إِلَيَّ ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ.

Translation

✧ How evil it is that you have equated us with the dog and the donkey. I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ praying while I was lying crosswise in front of him, and when he wanted to prostrate he nudged me—meaning my leg—so I drew it up to myself, then he prostrated.
