✧ Alqamah and his companions set out for Hajj. Some of them mentioned a fasting person kissing and touching (his wife). A man among them who had stood (in prayer) for two years and fasted them said: 'I intended to take my bow and strike you with it.' He said: 'So they refrained until they came to Aishah.' They entered upon Aishah and asked her about that. Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss and touch, and he was the most in control of his desires among you.' They said: 'O Abu Shibl, ask her.' He said: 'I will not utter obscene words in her presence today.' So they asked her, and she said: 'He used to kiss and touch while he was fasting.'
