✧ We had a mat that we would spread out by day and fence off with at night. Something I did not understand from Sufyān was hidden from me: that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Muslims pray following his prayer,' so he said: 'Take on of deeds what you can bear, for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does not tire until you tire.' And when he prayed a prayer, he would keep it up, and the most beloved deed to him was the most constant one.
