حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ نِسَاءً مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ كُنَّ يُصَلِّينَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الصُّبْحَ مُتَلَفِّعَاتٍ بِمُرُوطِهِنَّ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعْنَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِنَّ وَمَا يَعْرِفُهُنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْغَلَسِ

Translation

✧ Some believing women used to pray the dawn prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrapped in their cloaks, then they would return to their families and no one would recognize them due to the darkness.
