حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبْعَثُ بِالْبُدْنِ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، وَأَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ الْبُدْنِ بِيَدَيَّ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي مَا يَأْتِي الْحَلَالُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَبْلُغَ الْبُدْنُ مَكَّةَ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to send sacrificial camels from Madinah to Makkah, and I would braid the garlands for the sacrificial camels with my own hands. Then he would do what a person not in ihram does before the sacrificial camels reached Makkah.
