✧ The wife of Rifāʿah al-Quraẓī entered while I and Abū Bakr were with the Prophet ﷺ, and she said: Rifāʿah divorced me irrevocably, and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Zubayr married me, and what he has is like a fringe. And she took hold of a fringe from her outer garment. Khālid b. Saʿīd b. al-ʿĀṣ was at the door and had not been granted permission, so he said: O Abū Bakr, will you not stop this woman from what she is speaking aloud in front of the Messenger of God ﷺ?! But the Messenger of God ﷺ did nothing more than smile. Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said: It is as if you want to return to Rifāʿah. No, not until you taste his honey and he tastes your honey.
