حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ إِنِّي
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ وَالٍ يُغْلَقُ بَابَهُ عَنْ ذِي الْخَلَّةِ وَالْحَاجَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنَةِ إِلَّا أَغْلَقَ اللهُ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ دُونَ خَلَّتِهِ وَحَاجَتِهِ وَمَسْكَنَتِهِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'There is no governor who closes his door to the one in need, the one with a requirement, or the destitute, but Allah closes the gates of heaven against his need, his requirement, and his destitution.'
