حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيد بْن هَارُون أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّد بْن إِسْحَاق عَن يَزِيد بْن أَبِي حَبِيب عَن عَبْد الله بْن رَاشِد الزَّوْفِي عَن عَبْد الله بْن أَبِي مُرَّة الزَّوْفِي عَن خَارِجَة بْن حُذَافَة الْعَدَوِي قَالَ
خَرَج عَلَيْنَا رَسُول الله ﷺ ذَات غَدَاة فَقَالَ لَقَد أَمَدَّكُم الله بِصَلَاة هِي خَيْر لَكُم مِن حُمْر النَّعَم قُلْنَا وَمَا هِي يَا رَسُول الله؟ قَالَ الْوِتْر فِيمَا بَيْنصَلَاة الْعِشَاء إِلَى طُلُوع الْفَجْر
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one morning and said, "Indeed, Allah has granted you a prayer that is better for you than red camels." We said, "And what is it, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "The Witr prayer, which is to be performed between the Night Prayer (Isha) and Dawn (Fajr)."
