حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ اقْتَطَعَ حَقَّ مُسْلِمٍ بِيَمِينِهِ حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَوْجَبَ لَهُ النَّارَ قَالَ وَا وَإِنْ كَانَ شَيْئًا يَسِيرًا؟ قَالَ وَإِنْ كَانَ قَضِيبًا مِنْ أَرَاكٍ يَقُولُهَا ثَلَاثًا

Translation

✧ That the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Whoever seizes the right of a Muslim by his oath, God has forbidden him Paradise and made the Fire obligatory for him.' He said: 'Even if it is something insignificant?' He said: 'Even if it is a twig from an arak tree,' saying it three times.
