حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُصَلِّي أَحَدُنَا فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍِ؟ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ فَلَمَّا نُودِيَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَالَ طَارَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ ثَوْبَيْنِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِمَا
Translation

✧ He informed him that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, can one of us pray in a single garment?" He remained silent, and when the call for prayer was announced, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ tied two garments together and prayed in them.
