Musnad Ahmad 23842

Translation

✧ They were sitting at al-Qadisiyyah when a funeral procession passed by, and they stood up. It was said: It is only one of the people of the earth (a non-Muslim). They said: A funeral procession passed by the Messenger of God ﷺ and he stood up. It was said to him: He is a Jew. He said: Is it not a soul?
