✧ The fear prayer was nothing but like the prayer of your guards today behind your imams, except that it was in turns. One group stood while they were all together with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and one group prostrated with him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood, and those who had been standing prostrated for themselves. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood, and they all stood with him. Then he bowed and they all bowed with him. Then he prostrated, and those who had been standing with him the first time prostrated, while the others who had prostrated with him the first time remained standing. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat, and those who had prostrated with him in the last of their prayer, those who had been standing for themselves prostrated, then they sat, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ united them with the salam.
