✧ A man married a woman from the Ansar, from Bal'ajlan. He consummated the marriage and spent the night with her. When morning came he said, "I did not find her to be a virgin." Their case was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called the girl and asked her, and she said, "Yes, I was a virgin." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to perform the mutual oath of condemnation (li'an), and he gave her the dower.
