حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ أَتَاهُ بِالْمَدَائِنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ حُذَيْفَةُ مَا فَعَلَ قَوْمُكَ؟ قَالَ قُلْتُ عَنْ أَيِّ بَالِهِمْ تَسْأَلُ؟ قَالَ
مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى هَذَا الرَّجُلِ يَعْنِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ فُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌوَفُلَانٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْجَمَاعَةِ وَاسْتَذَلَّ الْإِمَارَةَ لَقِيَ اللهَ وَلَا وَجْهَ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ

✧ "Whoever of them went out to this man," meaning Uthman. He said: I said, "So-and-so and so-and-so and so-and-so." He said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "Whoever departs from the community and humiliates the leadership will meet God with no face before Him."
