حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ سَعِدُ بْنُ طَارِقٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا مَعَ الدَّجَّالِ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ مَعَهُ نَهَرَانِ يَجْرِيَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ مَاءٌ أَبْيَضُ وَالْآخَرُ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ نَارٌ تَأَجَّجُ فَإِمَّا أَدْرَكَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَأْتِ النَّهَرَ الَّذِي يَرَاهُ نَارًا وَلْيُغْمِضْ ثُمَّ لِيُطَأْطِئْ رَأْسَهُ فَلْيَشْرَبْ فَإِنَّهُ مَاءٌ بَارِدٌ وَإِنَّ الدَّجَّالَ مَمْسُوحُ الْعَيْنِ الْيُسْرَى عَلَيْهَا ظَفَرَةٌ غَلِيظَةٌ وَفِيهِ مَكْتُوبٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ كَافِرٌ يَقْرَؤُهُ كُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ كَاتِبٍ وَغَيْرُ كَاتِبٍ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Indeed I know more about what is with the Dajjāl than the Dajjāl himself. He has two flowing rivers: one appears to the eye as white water, and the other appears to the eye as blazing fire. If any of you reaches him, let him go to the river that he sees as fire, close his eyes, then lower his head and drink, for it is cold water. The Dajjāl is missing his left eye, over which is a thick covering, and written between his eyes is 'kāfir' (disbeliever), which every believer, whether literate or illiterate, can read."
