✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ

خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَلَقِيَهُ حُذَيْفَةُ فَحَادَ عَنْهُ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ مَا لَكَ؟ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كُنْتُ جُنُبًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لَا يَنْجُسُ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out, and Hudhayfah met him but turned aside from him. He then performed a full bath and came back. He said, 'What is with you?' He said, 'O Messenger of God, I was in a state of major impurity.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'The Muslim does not become impure.'
