✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُمَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ قَالَ فَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّ فِي الْمَاءِ قِلَّةً الَّذِي يَرِدُهُ فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ لَا يَسْبِقَنِي إِلَى الْمَاءِ أَحَدٌ فَأَتَى الْمَاءَ وَقَدْ سَبَقَهُ قَوْمٌ فَلَعَنَهُمْ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on the day of the Battle of Tabuk, and it reached him that there was a shortage of water. So he ordered someone to announce to the people not to go ahead of him to the water. But some people went ahead of him to the water, so he cursed them.
