✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ امْرَأَتِهِ عَنْ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ أَمَا لَكُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَ؟ أَمَا إِنَّهُ مَا مِنْكُنَّ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ تَلْبَسُ ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ addressed us, saying, “O company of women, do you not have silver to adorn yourselves with? Indeed, there is no woman among you who wears gold and displays it except that she will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection.”
