✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْمُسْلِمِ بْنِ نُذَيْرٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ
أَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِي أَوْ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِهِ فَقَالَ حَقُّ الْإِزَارِ هَا هُنَا فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَهَا هُنَا فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَيْنِ أَوْ لَا حَقَّ لِلْكَعْبَيْنِ فِي الْإِزَارِ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ took hold of the muscle of my calf—or his calf—and said, “The proper place of the lower garment is here. If you refuse, then here. If you refuse, then the lower garment has no right to the ankles,” or “the ankles have no right to the lower garment.”
