✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْهَاشِمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَشْهَلِيِّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلَتَنْهَوُنَّ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ أَوْ لَيُوشِكَنَّ اللهُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عِقَابًا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ ثُمَّ لَتَدْعُنَّهُ فَلَا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَكُمْ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, or Allah will soon send upon you a punishment from Him; then you will call upon Him, and He will not answer you.”
