حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ أَنَّ جُنَادَةَ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ، فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِي ذَلِكَ قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أُنَاسًا يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ مَا كَانَ الْجِهَادُ

Translation

✧ Some men from the companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ said, some of them: 'Emigration has ceased.' They disagreed about that. He said: So I went to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of God, some people say that emigration has ceased.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Emigration does not cease as long as jihad continues.'
