حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ
سَيُصَالِحُكُمُ الرُّومُ صُلْحًا آمِنًا، ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ وَهُمْ عَدُوًّا، فَتُنْصَرُونَ، وَتَسْلَمُونَ، وَتَغْنَمُونَ، ثُمَّ تَنْصَرِفُونَ حَتَّى تَنْزِلُوا بِمَرْجٍ ذِي تُلُولٍ، فَيَرْفَعُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ النَّصْرَانِيَّةِ صَلِيبًا، فَيَقُولُ: غَلَبَ الصَّلِيبُ، فَيَغْضَبُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَيَقُومُ إِلَيْهِ، فَيَدُقُّهُ، فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ تَغْدِرُ الرُّومُ، وَيَجْمَعُونَ لِلْمَلْحَمَةِ
Translation

✧ The Romans will make a secure peace with you, then you will raid them as an enemy, and you will be victorious, safe, and gain spoils. Then you will depart until you camp in a meadow with hills. A man from Christianity will raise a cross and say: The cross has prevailed. A Muslim man will become angry, get up, and smash it. At that point the Romans will betray and gather for the great battle.
