حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَيْسِيُّ أَنَّهُ

كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَبَالَ، فَأُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ، فَهَالَ عَلَى يَدِهِ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ، فَغَسَلَهَا مَرَّةً، وَعَلَى وَجْهِهِ مَرَّةً، وَذِرَاعَيْهِ مَرَّةً، وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ مَرَّةً بِيَدَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا، وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: الْتَفَّ إِصْبَعَهُ الْإِبْهَامَ.

✧ He was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and he urinated, and water was brought to him, and he poured from the vessel over his hand and washed it once, and over his face once, and his forearms once, and he washed his feet once with both his hands, and he said in his narration: he interlaced his thumb.
