✧ I went out with my family intending to see the Prophet ﷺ, and there he was standing with a man facing him. I thought they had some matter, so I sat down. By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood for so long that I began to feel sorry for him due to the length of standing. Then he left, and I went up to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, that man made you stand so long that I began to feel sorry for you due to the length of standing." He said: "Do you know who that was?" I said: "No." He said: "That was Jibril, advising me about the neighbor until I thought he would make him an heir. Indeed, if you had greeted him, he would have returned your greeting."
