✧ He saw Ibn al-Zubayr, ‘Abdullah, praying with them, gesturing with his palms when he stood, when he bowed, when he prostrated, and when he rose for standing; he would stand and gesture with his hands. He said: I went to Ibn ‘Abbas and said to him: I saw Ibn al-Zubayr pray a prayer I have never seen anyone pray! He described this gesture to him, and he said: If you would like to look at the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then follow the prayer of Ibn al-Zubayr.
