حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا ضِرَارٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُرَّةَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ، فَزُورُوهَا، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ أَنْ تُمْسِكُوهَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ، فَأَمْسِكُوهَا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ إِلَّا فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَاشْرَبُوا فِي الْأَسْقِيَةِ كُلِّهَا، وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

✧ I had forbidden you from visiting graves, so visit them. And I had forbidden you from keeping the meat of sacrificial animals beyond three days, so keep it as long as you wish. And I had forbidden you from nabīdh except in a water-skin, so drink from all kinds of water-skins, but do not drink any intoxicant.
