✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ did not take omens from anything, but when he wanted to come to a land, he would ask about its name. If it was good, cheerfulness was seen in his face; if it was ugly, that was seen in his face. And when he sent a man, he would ask about his name. If the name was good, cheerfulness was seen in his face; if it was ugly, that was seen in his face.
