✧ Abdullah bin Malik b. Buhaynah

قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ، فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ، فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ، وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ.

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in two rak'ahs, then stood up without sitting. The people stood up with him. When he finished his prayer, and we expected his salutation, he said the takbir and performed two prostrations while sitting before the salutation, then he gave the salutation.
