حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً
Translation

✧ A man freed six slaves on his deathbed, having no wealth besides them, so the Messenger of God ﷺ drew lots among them and freed two and kept four in bondage.
