حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِلْبَاءُ بْنُ أَحْمَرَ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ
صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الظُّهْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَحَدَّثَنَا بِمَا كَانَ وَمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ فَأَعْلَمُنَا أَحْفَظُنَا
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the dawn prayer with us, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until noon arrived. Then he descended and prayed the noon prayer, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the afternoon arrived. Then he descended and prayed the afternoon prayer, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the sun set. He told us about what had been and what is to be, and the most knowledgeable of us is the one who memorized it best.
