حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ
مَنْ رَأَى رُؤْيَا تُعْجِبُهُ فَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهَا؛ فَإِنَّهَا بُشْرَى مِنَ اللهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ]، وَمَنْ رَأَى رُؤْيَا يَكْرَهُهَا فَلَا يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا، وَلْيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا
Translation

✧ Whoever sees a dream that pleases him should relate it, for it is glad tidings from Allah [Mighty and Majestic]. Whoever sees a dream he dislikes should not relate it, but should spit to his left and seek refuge with Allah from its evil.
