حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِأَرْضِ سَعْدٍ بِأَصْلِ الْحَرَّةِ عِنْدَ بُيُوتِ السُّقْيَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَكَ وَعَبْدَكَ وَنَبِيَّكَ دَعَاكَ لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ وَرَسُولُكَ أَدْعُوكَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِثْلَ مَا دَعَاكَ بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، نَدْعُوكَ أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ وَمُدِّهِمْ وَثِمَارِهِمُ، اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ إِلَيْنَا مَكَّةَ، وَاجْعَلْ مَا بِهَا مِنْ وَبَاءٍ بِخُمٍّ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي قَدْ حَرَّمْتُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا كَمَا حَرَّمْتَ عَلَى لِسَانِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَرَمَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution, then prayed in the land of Sa'd at the foot of the Harrah near the houses of al-Suqya. Then he said: O Allah, Ibrahim, Your close friend, servant and prophet, called upon You for the people of Makkah. I am Muhammad, Your servant, prophet and messenger, and I call upon You for the people of Madinah as Ibrahim called upon You for the people of Makkah. We ask You to bless for them their sa' and their mudd and their fruits. O Allah, make Madinah beloved to us as You made Makkah beloved to us, and place whatever plague it contains in Khumm. O Allah, I have made sacred what lies between its two lava fields, just as You made the Sanctuary sacred upon the tongue of Ibrahim.
