حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ
أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَوْمِهِ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: صَوْمُ الِاثْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: ذَاكَ يَوْمٌ وُلِدْتُ فِيهِ، وَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ فِيهِ

✧ A bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about his fasting, and he mentioned the hadith, except that he said: 'Fasting Monday?' He said: 'That is a day on which I was born, and on which it was sent down upon me.'
