✧ When Dimam b. Tha'laba, the brother of the Banu Sa'd b. Bakr, embraced Islam, he asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about the obligatory duties of Islam, including prayer and others. He enumerated for him the five prayers, adding nothing to them; then zakat, then fasting Ramadan, then the pilgrimage to the House. Then he informed him of what God had forbidden him. When he finished, he said: 'I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that you are the Messenger of God! I will do what you have commanded me, neither adding nor subtracting.' He said: Then he turned away, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'If the man with the two locks speaks the truth, he will enter Paradise.'
