حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَاذَانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ فَقَالَ: كَفَّارَةُ سَنَتَيْنِ، وَسُئِلَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ، فَقَالَ: كَفَّارَةُ سَنَةٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah, and he said, “It expiates two years,” and he was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura, and he said, “It expiates one year.”
