✧ We entered upon Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari and asked him about the prayer. He said: Shall I not pray with you as the Messenger of God ﷺ used to pray? He said: Then he stood and said the takbir, raising his hands. Then he bowed, placing his palms on his knees and keeping his upper arms away from his sides. He said: Then he stood until every part of him was still. Then he prostrated, placing his palms and keeping his upper arms away from his sides. He said: Then he stood until every part of him was still. Then he prayed four rak'ahs in this manner.
