حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّعَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
أَتَى رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا عِنْدِي مَا أُعْطِيكَ، وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا، فَأَتَى الرَّجُلَ فَأَعْطَاهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ، أَوْ: عَامِلِهِ
Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him. He said: "I do not have anything to give you, but go to so-and-so." The man went to him and he gave him. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Whoever guides to something good has the like of the reward of its doer, or its performer."
