✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon in which he praised and glorified Allah. Then he said, "Indeed, among you are hypocrites. So whoever I mention, let him stand up." Then he said, "Stand up, O so-and-so. Stand up, O so-and-so. Stand up, O so-and-so." He named thirty-six men. Then he said, "Among you, or from among you, fear Allah." 'Umar passed by a man whom he had named earlier and recognized him. He said, "What's the matter with you?" The man said, "He mentioned me, so I informed him of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said." 'Umar said, "Stay away from me for the rest of the day."
