✧ While I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with nothing between me and him but the rear of the saddle, he said: O Muadh. I said: At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your command. He said: Then he traveled for a while, then said: O Muadh b. Jabal. I said: At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your command. He said: Then he traveled for a while, then said: O Muadh b. Jabal. I said: At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your command. He said: Do you know what Allah's right upon His servants is? He said: I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: Indeed, Allah's right upon His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him. He said: Then he traveled for a while, then said: O Muadh b. Jabal. I said: At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your command. He said: Do you know what the servants' right upon Allah is if they do that? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best.
