✧ We came to Mu'adh and said: Narrate to us some of the unusual hadiths of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ on a donkey, and he said: "O Mu'adh." I said: "At your service, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Do you know what Allah's right upon His servants is?" I said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "Allah's right upon His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him." Then he said: "Do you know what the servants' right upon Allah is if they do that?" I said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "The servants' right upon Allah, if they do that, is that He will not punish them."
