حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ

مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَبِيتُ عَلَى ذِكْرِ اللهِ طَاهِرًا، فَيَتَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَيَسْأَلُ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] خَيْرًا مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ.

✧ There is no Muslim who spends the night upon the remembrance of Allah in a state of purity, then wakes during the night, and asks Allah [Mighty and Majestic] for good in the affairs of this world and the Hereafter, except that He gives it to him.
