حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رَيْحَانَةَ وَسَمَّاهُ عَلِيٌّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَطَرٍ قَالَ
أَخْبَرَنِي سَفِينَةُ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُوَضِّئُهُ الْمُدُّ وَيَغْسِلُهُ الصَّاعُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ
Translation

- Abū Rayḥānah And Sammāh ʿAlī ʿAbdullāh b. Maṭar
✧ Safīna, the freed slave of the Messenger of God ﷺ, informed me that the Messenger of God ﷺ would perform ablution with a mudd (of water) and wash from major impurity with a ṣāʿ.
