✧ I asked Ibn Abbas, saying: We live in a land where we have vineyards, and most of their produce is wine! He said: A man from Daws came to the Messenger of God ﷺ with a skin of wine as a gift. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: Do you know that God has forbidden it after you (left)? The owner of the skin turned to a man with him and told him to sell it. The Prophet ﷺ said: What did you tell him to do? He said: To sell it. He said: Do you know that the One who forbade drinking it has also forbidden selling it and consuming its price? He said: So he ordered the water skin to be emptied.
