✧ He and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the House. He ordered Bilal to shut the door, and the House at that time had six pillars. He went until he came to the two columns that are next to the door, the door of the Kaaba. He sat down, praised Allah and extolled Him, asked Him and sought His forgiveness. Then he stood and went to the back of the Kaaba, facing it, and placed his face and body against the Kaaba. He praised Allah and extolled Him, asked Him and sought His forgiveness. Then he went to each corner of the House, reciting takbir, tahlil, tasbih, praising Allah, seeking forgiveness, and making requests. Then he came out and prayed two rak'ahs outside the House, facing the front of the Kaaba. Then he turned and said: "This is the qiblah, this is the qiblah."
