✧ Osama bin Zaid's Love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ أَهْلَكَ اللهُ بِهِ الْأُمَمَ قَبْلَكُمْ، وَقَدْ بَقِيَ مِنْهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ شَيْءٌ، يَجِيءُ أَحْيَانًا وَيَذْهَبُ أَحْيَانًا، فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا، وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ فِي أَرْضٍ فَلَا تَأْتُوهَا

Translation

✧ This plague is a punishment with which Allah destroyed the nations before you, and some of it remains in the earth. It comes sometimes and goes sometimes. When it occurs in a land, do not leave it, and when you hear of it in a land, do not go there.
