✧ I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he was in a state of gloom. I asked him what was the matter, and he said: 'Jibril has not come to me for three days.' He said: Then there was a puppy between his houses, so he ordered it to be killed. Then Jibril ﷺ appeared to him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ hastened to him when he saw him and said: 'You did not come to me!' He said: 'We do not enter a house in which there is a dog or images.'
