✧ Zaid b. Thabit, from the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ، فَأَخْبَرَهُمْ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا

Translation

✧ He prohibited selling fresh dates for dried dates, so Zayd b. Thabit informed them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted a concession for araya.
