حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا إِذَا أَصْبَحْنَا: أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ، وَمِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا، وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، وَإِذَا أَمْسَيْنَا مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us, when we entered the morning, to say: 'We have entered the morning upon the fiṭrah of Islam, the word of sincerity, the Sunnah of our Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, and the religion of our father Ibrāhīm, ḥanīf and Muslim, and he was not of the polytheists.' And when we entered the evening, the like of that.
