machine translationʿImrān b. Abī Anas narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Al-Layth b. Saʿd narrated it from ʿImrān b. Abī Anas, from Ibn Abī Saʿīd, from his father. Abū al-Walīd narrated it from al-Layth, but did not establish its chain. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĀmir al-Aslamī narrated it from ʿImrān b. Abī Anas, from Sahl b. Saʿd, from Ubayy b. Kaʿb. Rabīʿah b. ʿUthmān al-Taymī and Usāmah b. Zayd differed from him, and narrated it from ʿImrān b. Abī Anas, from Sahl b. Saʿd, from the Prophet ﷺ, without mentioning Ubayy. It seems that the correct statement is that of al-Layth from ʿImrān b. Abī Anas.
